March Madness, Continued!
dang, March REALLY is the best time of year to ski and ride. I’m serious!! Shawnee Peak is still loaded with snow and I suggest you plan to make your way to the Peak this weekend! The skiing the last few days has just been simply “awesome.”
So, what’s happening – first, lets talk about our snow coverage…. we’re still rocking wall-to-wall snow and deep depths on ALL of our open trails. 95% of our skiable terrain is open and we are 100% open for night skiing!
C’mon over – this is a great weekend to experience the outdoors, breathe in some fresh air and let the smiles ride 🙂 When you’re done skiing, grab a freshly made cider donut or a beer on the deck at Blizzard’s Pub. We can’t wait to see you so make your plans now!
The Maine Mag recently featured some tips for spring skiing, check it out here 🙂 I hope you recognize those pics!
this is what we are all about! there is no better time to enjoy time with the family than on the slopes at Shawnee Peak. We’ve got terrain for all ages and abilities across the mountain – split up and you can all meet up at the bottom of the mountain for the lift ride back up or at the lodge for lunch!
If mom and dad want to take a few runs and get the kids some tips, our SnowSports School is rocking and rolling all weekend with both lessons for kids and parents (wink wink, dad…) in both private and group forms. Give us a ring at 207-647-8444 x26 and we’ll get you squared away.
