Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Enjoy the Long Weekend!

Each year, Labor Day brings with it a mix of feelings to everyone! Like most, we’re sad to see the summer come to an end, but for us in the ski biz, we’re pretty excited for the Fall. This time of year is when we really start to ramp things up and our mindset shifts to thinking snow!

First off, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that Tuesday is the last day to get your season pass at the summer rate(don’t worry – the Night and Military Pass will come out soon!). I would encourage you to pick up a pass as it offers the best value to Sneak to the Peak all winter long. As Chet mentioned in his email, we appreciate your support every year. We strive to provide the best experience for you all, including working on new perks.

Every Fall, there continues to be no shortage of items to add to our punch list! We’ve just finished drilling holes for our new snowgun mounts on our cross-over trails. The hardware for our ticket and gate system continues to arrive on a daily basis. Over the next few weeks, our new rental equipment will arrive, and the staff will be doing some base lodge improvements and touch ups. On-hill, there is no shortage of work to be done!

We’ll also be on the road quite a bit over the next 10-12 weeks, visiting some groups and attending trade shows and events. We’d love to see you – email us at blog@shawneepeak.com to learn more and maybe we can get together!

Last, but not least, we’re looking for a few good women & men to join our team. We’re actively hiring in Mountain Ops and Group Sales as well as ski school. Please visit our employment page for more details.

I hope you all have a wonderful time with friends and family, get outside!
