Test your skills, improve your technique – or just go as big as you can!
The Big Air Bag is a training tool used by professional stuntmen. It is an inflatable pillow that backs on to an 8 foot kicker. The Big Air Bag cushions your landing, deflates so you can exit after you land and then inflates for the next jumper.
At Shawnee Peak we also allow tubing into the Big Air Bag. At specific times we groom a channel into the Big Air Bag approach that is sized specifically for our inflatable tubes. A Staff member will meet you at the top of the run and help you load into your tube and then tubers are set free to get massive air.
Saturdays: 3-7pm tubing
Sundays: 1-4:30pm tubing
Holidays: 3-7pm tubing
Hours are subject to change without notice
Sunday, March 2 the BigAirBag will be open for Super Hits Sunday.
Only competitors that register between 11 and noon on Sunday will be allowed to ski and ride into the airbag.
We will continue normal AirBag operations next weekend.
