Join a select team of women coaches from Shawnee Peak SnowSports School's Staff each weekend for our Women Specific Ski and Snowboard Clinics.

 

 

Snowboard Clinics Take Place 10:30-Noon Saturdays
Ski Clinics Take Place 10:30-Noon Sundays

 

 

These clinics are designed for women and conducted by women.

 

The goal of each clinic is to provide a supportive and relaxed learning experience, while developing new skills, and gaining confidence on various aspects of the mountain.


Women Specific Ski and Snowboard Clinics are offered for all ability levels. Our coaches custom tailor each lesson to target the goals and expectations of the group. Beginner level groups may want to gain confidence linking turns on the green circle trails, while upper level groups may want to learn some basic skills to follow the kids into the park, or spend a lazy Saturday carving the corduroy.


Shawnee Peak prides itself on being a family oriented mountain, therefore we have structured clinic start times 30 minutes after our children's program start time to allow mothers time check their kids in for lessons, and gear up to meet their group.

 

 

Women's clinics are priced at an affordable $35 dollars (Price does not include a lift tickets or rentals)

Shawnee Peak is a Proud Burton Learn to Ride Center.


Burton is the only company in the industry that makes a full setup of learning specific gear designed around the female body. With the LTR-L the narrower waist and softer flex accommodates females' typical smaller feet and makes the board easier to turn and maneuver. With the Progression Women's Boot and Progression Stiletto binding we provide our female guests with a boot and compatible binding designed around their narrower heal and feet as well as lower calf muscle.
