Spring Fling Slush Cup

In what has become a veritable tradition at Shawnee Peak, the 27th Annual Spring Fling promises to be a day of sun, fun, music and lots of laughs!
Celebrating the beginning on Spring, the event captures the essence of the season's skiing and riding - lots of soft snow, live entertainment, sumptuous BBQ and lounging on the Blizzard's Pub party deck, catching rays and enjoying the weather! There is no better way to welcome Spring
The Slush Cup (starts at 1:30pm) pits skiers and snowboarders against a 100-foot-long man-made pond of ice cold water. Skim along as far as you can go, before falling victim to the laws of gravity! Register (for free) in the base lodge from 10am-11:30am. Kids under 18 MUST have a parent or guardian accompany them to sign the liability paperwork.
Schedule:
10am-11:30am - Slush Cup registration near the cafeteria in the Base Lodge (outside if the weather's nice!) FREE! Kids under 18 MUST have a parent or guardian accompany them to sign the liability paperwork. Snow Volleyball teams can register at this time, too.
11:30am-1pm - BBQ next to the Great Room. Burgers, dogs and all the fixins.
Noon-1:30pm & 2:30pm-5pm - Live Entertainment in Blizzard's Pub!
2:30pm Snow Volleyball Tournament in the SnowSports School Meeting area uphill from the Base Lodge.
4-6pm- Apres-ski party in Blizzard's Pub
