Why stay slopeside, when you can stay mountaintop?

Shawnee Peak is offering rentals in the Pleasant Mountain Cabins on TOP of the mountain - perfect for hikers, skiers (in winter) and anyone who wants a unique lodging/camping experience! We have two huts for the outdoor enthusiasts to choose from, the North Ridge Yurt or Tuckermans Cabin.

Soak in the views, snowshoe right from the door, be up early for first tracks or just sit and watch for the many species of wildlife that frequent the mountain.

The Northridge Yurt sleeps 4 in two bunk beds, Tuckermans Cabin sleeps 6 in two bunk beds and a futon, you are required to bring your own bedding and pillows. Basic kitchen amenities including pots, pans, utensils, dishes and cups are provided. Cooking can be done on either a two burner camp stove inside or propane grill outside. Washing Water is provided. Lighting is natural during the day, battery powered lamps are provided for the evening hours, headlamps are highly recommended. A gas woodstove will keep you warm during the cooler evenings. Raised fire pits are at both campsites as well as a natural outhouse.

The Wilderness cabins are a pack in pack out expericence. During the winter months you bring your luggage with you on the chairlift, so please pack accordingly. Both Cabins are ski-in-ski out and sit trailside on Sunset Blvd.

First night is $165, each additional night is $125. Skiing the night of check in is complementary. Skiing on following days is discounted so that all guests ski for the price of a junior.
